We are excited to announce that Soda’s DAO services will be available soon! As we gear up for mainnet launch on Polygon, we will be releasing our testnet in mid-May. For our campaign, we are seeking out promising early stage Web3 projects to try out our new DAO features and provide feedback on the user experience. We hope that our new DAO tools will serve our users and community well, and look forward to seeing the new DAOs that will be launched!
Projects will now be able to grow their DAOs through Facebook and Twitter with Soda. DAOs can be created on Soda based on a single or collection of NFTs. They will have various ways to engage their followers to join and participate in governance. Sonet provides additional batch minting tools for DAOs to launch new rounds of NFT sales or airdrops.
The DAO exposure begins when their social media followers see the NFTs used to create the DAO in Soda’s NFT Resources section. This then allows for followers to join and participate in the DAO governance. Participation can be open to social media followers, users who favorited the DAO’s NFTs, or owners of the minted NFTs. DAOs can use the NFTs to token gate their virtual platforms as well in-person events.
The DAO’s profile on Soda shows key information including inception date, member count and social media links. All past and existing proposals will be visible for its social media followers, and DAO members will have access to vote on active proposals and create new ones. This makes DAO governance easier than ever, all performed through one central platform!
Even if a user has not downloaded Soda, the DAO’s NFTs are still visible on their news feed and are marked with a custom QR code and message that labels this NFT as a DAO. Users can hover over the image and will be directed by a pop up to download Soda from Chrome Web Store to access all features. This creates easy access to voting capabilities.
